The “AntiSocial Behaviour Action Plan Support Scheme Around Walker Areas” is a project designed by BEST Initiatives to address the issue of antisocial behavior among young people in the Walker areas of Newcastle upon Tyne. This project aims to provide comprehensive youth support and engage them in positive activities such as sports, physical activities, and mentorship programs.
Through this project, we aim to make a significant difference in the lives of young people in Walker areas by offering them opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and positive engagement. By providing access to sporting activities, physical exercise, and mentorship, we intend to divert their focus from antisocial behaviours and provide them with constructive outlets for their energy and aspirations. This holistic approach will contribute to a reduction in antisocial behavior and enhance the overall well-being of young individuals in the community.
The primary beneficiaries of this project will be the young people residing in the Walker areas of Newcastle upon Tyne. By engaging them in positive activities and providing mentorship, we aim to empower them to make positive life choices, build resilience, and develop essential life skills. Additionally, the community as a whole will benefit from the project’s impact, as the reduction in antisocial behaviour will lead to an improved sense of safety and cohesion.
The project is expected to run for a period of three years. This estimated timeframe will allow us to implement the necessary programs, monitor their effectiveness, and make adjustments as needed to ensure maximum impact and sustainability.
To ensure that people are aware of the project, we will employ a multifaceted approach. This will include targeted outreach to local schools, community centers, and youth organizations, as well as leveraging social media platforms, local newspapers, and radio stations to disseminate information about the project. We will also actively engage with community leaders, parents, and guardians to ensure widespread awareness and participation.
Throughout the project’s duration, we will implement a robust monitoring and evaluation system. This will involve regular data collection, feedback from participants and stakeholders, and ongoing assessments of the project’s outcomes and impact. The insights gained from this process will be used to continually improve and refine the project’s strategies and activities. The knowledge acquired will be utilized to shape future projects, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance to the community’s evolving needs.
While the “AntiSocial Behaviour Action Plan Support Scheme Around Walker Areas” is a new project, it builds upon the successful principles and approaches implemented in previous initiatives by BEST Initiatives. By leveraging the organization’s expertise and experience, we aim to replicate and expand upon the positive outcomes achieved in prior projects, tailoring them specifically to the needs of the Walker areas.
